Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This page is maintained by ARCINFOTECH to explain what information we collect on arcinfotech.net, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It describes our current practices and is not a certification or independent audit.
1. Who we are
ARCINFOTECH (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a web design and subscription service based in British Columbia, Canada. This Privacy Policy applies to the arcinfotech.net website and to information submitted to us through the site’s inquiry form.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information you knowingly provide, plus a limited amount of technical information required to serve and secure the website.
a. Information you submit through the inquiry form
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company (optional)
- The subscription tier you are interested in
- The goals or project description you write in the message field
b. Technical information
When you load the website, standard hosting infrastructure processes information such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and request timestamps for the purpose of delivering the page, preventing abuse, and diagnosing errors. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
c. What we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account to browse the site.
- We do not collect payment card information on this website.
- We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels.
- We do not use analytics that build cross-site user profiles.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide only to:
- Respond to your inquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
- Prepare a proposal, quote, or scope of work for the subscription tier you selected.
- Keep a record of the inquiry so we can follow up and reference the conversation later.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website (for example, blocking spam submissions).
- Send an internal notification to our team so we can follow up quickly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add inquiry emails to a marketing newsletter or mass mailing list.
4. Legal basis (for visitors in applicable jurisdictions)
Where a legal basis is required (for example, in the EU/UK), we process the information you submit through the inquiry form on the basis of your consent (you chose to send it) and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients. Technical/log data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
5. Where your information is stored (service providers)
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run this site. Each provider only processes information on our behalf and under their own security controls:
- Website hosting and database: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase). Inquiry submissions are stored in a private database that is not publicly readable.
- Domain and email delivery: our registrar and email provider for arcinfotech.net so we can send and receive correspondence with you.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside of your country of residence, including in Canada, the United States, and the European Union.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, to complete or decline any resulting engagement, and to keep basic business records. If your inquiry does not lead to an engagement, you may ask us to delete it at any time (see “Your choices” below).
Records associated with an active client engagement are retained for the term of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, consistent with applicable Canadian law.
7. How we protect it
Inquiry submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a private database with access restricted to ARCINFOTECH and its infrastructure providers. We limit internal access to information that is needed to respond to your inquiry.
No online service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals as required by applicable Canadian law.
8. Cookies
arcinfotech.net does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may use strictly necessary browser storage required for the page to render correctly (for example, storing your motion-reduction preference in your own browser). No cookie banner is required for strictly necessary storage in most jurisdictions; if this changes, we will update this policy.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the information you have shared with us, including the right to:
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
- Withdraw consent for us to keep processing it.
To make a request, email info@arcinfotech.net from the address you originally used to contact us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Canadian residents may also raise concerns with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or their provincial equivalent (such as the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia).
10. Third-party links
The website may link to external sites (for example, portfolio examples or documentation). Those sites have their own privacy practices and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
